Problem importing AVCHD
I have a panasonic HDC HS9 camcorder. It works fie with FCP 6.0.5 that I have when importing using the log and transfer window unless I want to record in 24p mode. If I record anything in 24p mode FCP crashes no matter if the clip is a few seconds or longer. Does anyone know a way around this problem?

For me, this problem started with the very latest Quicktime update, before which I had no problem importing many hundreds of 24p clips.
If above is a true cause/effect, the solution may be to wait for a subsequent QT version, or, an updated Perian component, which fixed this problem the first time around last year.
