    Hi there,

Having huge problems exporting content from fcp to compressor to make a file ready for DVD pro. It crashes going direct to compressor, tried exporting an mov in fcp and sent that to compressor, but there’s glitches when converted. It tends to be the files I used motion animation on.

Has anyone experienced this or know a solution? I’m already past my deadline and in serious trouble.

    Thank you,

    Mark

Export self-contained QT (not QT Conversion) using current settings. Drag that file into Compressor. Choose the Best-quality preset of your choice and submit. You can turn on Frame Controls and adjust it to increase quality (and encode time). Take the resultant mv2 and ac3 files into DVDSP to author the DVD. Search to the find specific steps of how to adjust Frame Controls and the ac3 preset (very important).
