Problem exporting Premiere 2.0 HDV footage over to After Effects 7.0
When exporting a HDV clip (shoot via Sony Z-1) from Premiere 2.0 over to After Effects 7.0, only black(?) video shows. However, the length of the black track is the same as the original clip. The audio too shows as having been transferred, except there is no audio either. According to the After Effects help list of supported file formats for import, there should be no problem.
What am I doing wrong here?? Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Without Aspect HD, you are not going to get a good results. Adobe admits this here:

However, exactly what settings are you using to export the clip from Premiere Pro?

Sorry. There are none that I know of besides the Cineform codec. Unless you are willing to export to a numbered series of stills. That might keep all of the quality you could hope for.
