  • Problem Capturing with Machina

I am currently having issues when trying to record from one Computer to the Capture System. I am using a dvi to hdmi converter into the AJA HA5. From there it is using the SDI cable to connect to the xena card. When in Machina I am able to see the desktop of my other computer at 1920x1800i(30) however when I hit capture the screen freezes and nothing happens.

On the screen it says capturing… however the time stamp does not move and no file is created. Any help would be much appreciated.

What GPU model are you using in your source PC to input into the HA5 for conversion to HD-SDI? For instance, is it a Nvidia Geforce, QuadroFX, or an ATI Radeon video card? Or are you using another type of GPU?

    Thanks,
