    Using PA 4.5 on a G5 2.5 Ghz Dual Core, OS 10.4.11.

I imported by elements a detailed logo exported from Illustrator – no problems, everything looks good. I locked the tracks and did a simple Camera move (crash zoom) – but I can’t render a frame, render a movie or even test the darn thing without PA crashing. I am using it as a standalone application,, no other apps are running, its a 3 second move – but blammo!

I tried exporting the whole thing as a .zxo and a .dxf, then reimporting into a new project – same thing. I even tried rendering it by elements, but it always crashes. I have deleted the prefs to no avail.

I suspect it is because the object has too much info for the app/CPU to handle, and collapsing the whole thing into one object would help – but how do I merge the logo so it becomes one locked object? I don’t see this information anywhere on the Zaxwerks site.

If I’m not mistaken, grouping the objects in Illustrator and then saving makes them come into PA as a single object. (I think I saw that in the John Dickenson tutorials.) I’d try grouping all the elements according to how you will stylize them in PA.
