Pro Type Titler
Posted by Steve Edwards on July 17, 2009 at 6:12 amIsn’t there anywhere that you can get information on this? There is nothing in the manual for 8.0, other than 1 paragraph. I checked the Sony website and didn’t see anything there either. You would have thought that there would be a manual for Pro Type. I thought that I read somewhere that you can do your setup of text in a program like MS Word, and import it into Pro Type Titler?

July 17, 2009 at 2:36 pmDid I read something somewhere that said, you could do all your text setup in MS Word, then transfer or import it into the titler? If so where can that info be seen so I know how it can be done?

Copy/Paste?
‘That’s fine, I had seen that last night, but I would think that after touting how good the titler is, that they would have some sort of detailed information/descriptions/instructions of how the whole thing works (not just one page).’After reading carefully the link I gave you, you should be able to find your way around in the pro type titler. There are only three steps involved: choosing the CHILD, setting the AUTOMATION and setting the CASCADE. The whole procedure has been described there very clearly. Just take the time to read through and follow all the steps.
But ofcourse the creative ideas have to come from the user him or herself. It are your own ideas that make the effect special.

July 17, 2009 at 5:27 pmYou might also take a look at the VASST training course for Vegas, one DVD i the set is devoted to ProType.
I can heartily recommend it.
