  Pro tools OMF –> Retaining volume / automation gain when imported into Avid

  Does anyone know a way to retain volume automation from a pro tools session in an OMF when being imported back into Media Composer as clip based gain, volume levels, or automation gain?

  3rd party or other?

  I know Automatic duck 2.0 advertises that you can retain the volume info when importing OMFs into final cut, however you’d think since avid and pro-tools are made by the same company there would be a way for the avid to read and retain this information as well.

  PLEASE HELP any suggestions would be greatly appretiated.
