  pro mixed sound losing sync upon reimport due to frame rate issue (i think?)

  editing feature length timeline. timeline is 23.98fps. sound mixer worked in pro-tools with timeline set at 23.98fps. of course the audio is all 48khz.

  i sent him an AAF from x2pro that was in sync with my fcpx timeline. on protools it was in sync with the reference video i exported for him at 23.98. but now i am reimporting his mix and it is slightly off sync.

  i am able to fix this by using retime editor, however this is not exact and it kills me to not be precisely on sync.

  is there some other way to fix this precisely?
