Walter & David – thank you as always.

The Promax name comes up so often here that I have already given it to the boss. I only wondered if their was someone more local who could offer on-site support if required. I expect Promax could offer good support anyway.

Normally we would ship a system over for work in the US. Right now all the stand-alone systems are out on hire (FCP is booming in the UK) and the HD systems are pre-installed in our HD truck (btw – have a look at our main suite in the truck at https://www.editecuk.com/editsuite2_op_800x531.jpg ) so it seems a good idea to get a new system, when the job is not too critical, and ship it back when we’re finished – saves a lot of money with the exchange rate as it is. Of course there are some risks, but I have a fallback and a cloned system drive from home, so it seems a reasonable thing to do.

If we can’t make this option work, I’ll get straight in contact with you David – a useful contact for the future for sure.
