Pro Animator FX – Animating a Cylinder Wrap
I am trying to animate 3D text around a 3D primitive sphere. I set the text in the first pose with the “Cylinder Wrap” distribution. The Checkbox “animate around cylinder center” is checked. I set the second pose to animate 360 degrees around the common center. When I play the animation back, it does not animate at all.
Am I missing something?

Hi Patrick,
The best way to animate a rotation is using the “Spin Y” action. This control is located in the Pose Actions section. Once you select Spin Y, type in 360 for the rotation, then check the Use Common Center checkbox and the text should spin for you.
