    Hi!
Firstly I hope I have posted this in the correct after effects section.

I want to create an intro to my latest video from some footage I have taken of cars passing me while I was waiting to drive off a ferry. On the side of some of the vans I would like to put the credits, i.e. Video title on one van, website address on a different van etc.

How would I go about doing this?

    Thanks,
    Owain.

that would be a motion tracking situation. all you’d have to do is motion track your text onto the van (perhaps using the ‘corner pin’ motion track) ..let me know if you’re intersted in realistically compositing it as well (lighting, texturing, grain, etc..)

This sounds exactly like what I am looking to do. Im quite new to After Effects, mostly been folloing VideoCoPilot tutorials 🙂

If you can give me instructions or a tutorial on how to get this working then that would be sweet.

Can anyone recommend a tutorial for me to try and do this?

    Thanks.

if you are following videocopilot tutorials then the demon tutorial https://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/demon_face_warp/ or the set extensions tutorial https://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/set_extensions/ can give you some pointers.
