Printing Gif Images withTransparent Background
Hi, I’m new to Photoshop…
– I have some GIF images with transparent background.
– They look fine in Adobe Photoshop (I was told that grey checkered background means it is transparent).
– When I physically print these picture, there are always solid black background.
– Why? How can I print my picture with transparent background, without these solid black background?Thanks!

I suggest opening the gif
– select all
– copy
– create a new document
– paste
– printor simply put a white background behind your image.
When you print pure white is considered transparent so there’s no need to have transparency in graphics that you are printing especially if it is causing you problems.
Change your image mode from indexed color to CMYK as well for print.
