Maybe I just have brain-fog this morning, but it seems to me that I used to be able to print from AE. I know I have a binder somewhere with flowcharts, effects windows, stuff like that from my early days with AE.

Today I was trying to print a flowchart from CS4 and I can’t even find a grayed-out “Print” command in any of the menus. Am I remembering things wrong or has Adobe decided to delete a useful command?

Consider exporting the frames as a JPEG or PNG sequence and then import these into Acrobat, Photoshop or some other application…

I don’t know of there ever being a Print command in After Effects.

This one bugged me enough to go dig up the manuals that came with AE4 and AE5. (…printed manuals…. remember them?)

Anyway, I could find no mention of any print function.

And thanks guys for the reminders about doing screen captures and printing from another app.
