  • Printing edge-to-edge from Photoshop.

I’m still using CS1 just so you know.

When I try to print, Photoshop thinks that my 8.5 x 11″ document is too big to print on the page, since normally the printer doesn’t print clear to the edges. In this case, my printer is an HP all-in-one deskjet unit that does support edge-to-edge printing. So I go to the printer setup and check the edge to edge option, then print. But because Photoshop doesn’t think it can print clear to the edges, it seemingly only sends the cropped area, then the HP driver upsizes it the tiny bit to the full size. This isn’t that big of a deal, except that it’s cutting off just a little too much on the bottom, which I really would have a hard time moving up. I just want it to print 8.5 x 11 as 8.5 x 11. Any ideas how?

I’m a fairly experienced computer and Photoshop user, I just haven’t printed much with my own printers before. I usually make a PDF and send it off to the printer.
