My timeline for one project will not allow me to print to video (mini dv) on any computer….and when I try to view it on the tv monitor it doesn’t play normally….it only shows the first frame I start on and then the new frame that I stop on….in between I just get the first frame….everything else about the project is normal (it plays in the viewer and canvas just fine) and I only started having this problem yesterday…I have tried two different computer so I am sure that this is related to the file…..also when i print to video I do get audio but no video….

What are your sequence settings, and what were the properites of the source clips? Were they the same? All DV?

oddly my clips are all dvcpro 23.97 but the the sequence settings all say dvcpro 60….I tried changing them but no luck…..unless i’m doing it wrong…..also i didn’t have this problem when i began the project so i don’t know why it would come up now……my settings haven’t changed at all….

Just for kicks, create a new sequence. Put a clip from the browser in it and say yes when it asks to conform to the clip’s properties. Post then what the sequence settings become.

Sounds good…i actually thought my back up plan would be to open up one of the sequences from the autosave vault from before this happened and copy and paste my current sequence into it….

but I’m gone from the editing studio until July 5th…..so we’ll see what happens then…..
