I am getting motion jaggies on my renders when using the Primatte 3.0 keyer. Green screen footage has been captured on an AVID (Meridian 2:1) and exported using the AVID QT Codec (720×486 lower field first). Upon import into AE 6.5, I am separating fields (lower) in Interpret Footage. I apply Primatte keyer, set my parameters, and render using the AVID QT Codec. Upon re-import into the AVID, I am seeing field jitters around head and hand motions (these are talking heads). I’ve tried adjusting all of the Primatte settings (no joy) and even rendering the un-keyed footage using the same settings (looks perfect). I feel like I must be missing a step in prepping my footage, but I am not sure. Any help would be enormously appreciated.
