previous versions of CC ‘better’ for multicore performance??
Just reading some random articles from a decently big name workstation maker where they talk of recommending Skylake cpu’s over dual Xeons anymore because Adobe CC has gone from supporting lots of cores well to being more GPU focused. Have they actually removed features/support in some way..?? Like if I didn’t have the fastest GPU upgrade would my 2017 CC be slower than a 2015 CC on a sixteen core Xeon workstation, or how does it all go? I could try to track down the specific article I saw again if necessary, I was just randomly curious if anyone knew about this offhand.
