    Hi!

Are there a lot of people here using time-remapping feature in After Effects? How do you preview the remapped footage (AE tells me that RAM preview doesn’t work with time remapping)?

    I have also another question:
I try to copy my footage from premiere but for some reason AE doesn’t copy only the selected part from premiere, but the whole long AVI-clip (it shows as a white line in the timeline). Is it possible to copy just the selected part, without the rest of the clip, because time remapping doesn’t work correctly when I have the whole clip in AE?

When I watch tv-shows I see a lot of time-remapping these days so I know that it should be quite easy to do. Is AE best suited for this task or should I go looking for another program or maybe a plugin? How do you guys do this?

previewing time remapping works fine for me. AE 6.5pro

and about the clip from premiere…why not just render it out how you want it.
It won’t be able to copy it to ae because its just a mirror on the timeline…I believe so anyway. Sorry I couldn’t help more then that
