    Previewing on an external monitor

    Hi!
    I am editing on Vegus 8 and running windows XP. I have twin monitors and I am trying to connect a TV as an external previewing device. I connected my video camera to the computer through a firewire cable using the camera to perform the codec I connected the output of the camera with a yellow RCA cable to the yellow input on the TV nothing!!!
    I enabled the Preview on External Monitor button on the Video preview window it acknowledges that this has been done BUT nothing on the TV screen

    CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I HAVE DONE WRONG AND SAVE MY SANITY.

    Make sure your camcorder has passthrough. What model/brand do you have?
