O.K. Premiere Pro Basics… this is about as basic as it gets. I’ve been using Premiere Pro CS5 .. and just upgraded to CS5.5

Everything seems to work as expected EXCEPT….. there is no way to preview clips from the logging bin. If I double click them, the source monitor window activates… but just with a black screen. If I right click a clip and select “Open in Source Monitor”, again.. the Source Monitor window activates (gets the orange outline)… but still just a black frame appears.

However, if I double click a clip on the timeline, that clip opens in the Source Monitor window, and will play normally.

I’m on a Mac Pro, OS 10.6.7, nVidia Quadro 4000 display card, 10 gigs of RAM, etc. etc.

    Any thoughts?
