  • Previewing Clips in Log and Transfer

I lost the video playback screen in the right half of the Log&Trans window.

The Log&Trans window is divided in to two halves (left & Right). . . the left containing a list of clips and the right containing a small screen for playback (and playback controls).

I grabbed the divider line (between the two halves) and moved it to the right to make the clip list larger.
When I moved the line it “snapped” all the way to the right completely covering the video playback side. . . . . now it is just a ‘clip list’ and I can’t watch clips prior to import.

Now I can’t slide the divider back to the left to reveal the video playback screen.
When I move the cursor over the right edge of the window the ‘two arrow symbol’ appears for sliding the divider line . . . but when I click and drag one of the arrows on the symbol dissappears and it does not drag the divider line back.

I’ve also tried the same click&drag approach while holding control, then shift, then option.
I’ve tried relaunching the software and restarting the computer.

I read an old post about this problem that mentioned something in the middle of the right edge of the window. I believe I clicked on that but got the same result as when I grabbed anywhere else on the right edge: (‘two arrow symbol’ that turned in to one arrow as soon as I clicked on it, and no playback window).

    Any help?
Is there a button I’m missing in the window(that brings back the right half of the window)?
Am I supposed to click on a certian part of the edge?

This is an embarrassing problem to have . . . but a very frustrating one that needs to be solved for the film director by Monday.

    Any help is appreciated.
