Preview window for RT effects?
Just noticing something…
Since I’ve only had the card for about 4 weeks; I am noticing that during RT previews (green bar, yellow bar) a small window appears on my monitor in the upper left hand “quadrant.” It displays real time effects, and is not full frame until you force render.Is this part of the KonaLH/2’s ability to accelerate dynamic RT in FCP? DVCPRO footage, particularly DVCPRO50?
The full frame image plays without effects and the smaller window plays the effect.I only ask because I haven’t seen this behavior before. Perhaps introduced during after a driver update.
Anyone else seeing this?

No, you should see everything full screen on your external monitor, just degraded a bit by the Dynamic Playback setting. Try trashing your FCP prefs to see if that fixes it.

I’ll give that a try. I haven’t seen the “effect box” since my last reboot 24hours ago. But FCP now chokes on yellow bar RT effects. Green bars play ok. I’m not in the office now, but I’ll trash later and see what happens.Do you see any choking with yellow bar RT effects?– and by choke, I mean the typical RT error message comes up.
