Well, the arrow is pointing to what I mean. I don’t know what that’s called around here. Anyways, when I play it. the sound works fine. But the video is going at like 1 FPS. this makes it VERY difficult to lip sync. I have a decently fast PC and it only lags when I use imported video from fraps. When I export it, it is not laggy. It’s only laggy when I’m trying to preview it. Does anyone have a solution?

A decently fast PC is probably not enough.

If you are importing uncompressed footage you will need a RAID system that can keep up with the data rate and a fast processor. likely a high end dual core or a quad core.

*Edit: I said export timeline, I meant double click on the footage and export the source window.

One solution would be export the footage by double clicking on it in the project panel and exporting while the source panel is highlighted. Then replace the footage in your project panel with that DV file.

Do your lip syncing, then replace the footage again with the original file.
