preview P2 footage on PC
Hi,
no problem to preview, manage or ingest P2 footage on Mac. Recently one PC guy joined our editing team. We found out that no problem to import MXF files to Premier pro to edit it natively but problem is that we import files blindly without seeing what video actually we import. We have to find how he can preview all the p2 folders from hard disk (not from P2 card) before he brings it to PPro.
Was trying to install p2 viewer and p2 content manager but nothing works… do not show even one video clip.
please help,

I would assume this would work as long as you downloaded all the correct components and drivers and his computer met the specs of those programs.

Jeremy thanks for the reply!
Just found out that it would be easier for him just to create new bin, drag and drop all the MXF from the p2card folder into it and preview it right from premier itself.
