  • Preview not showing ends of slipping

Normally, when slipping a video event, Vegas will split screen the preview window, showing the beginning frame and ending frame of the clip as it changes with slipping. Now it’s not doing it. It just shows the change at the cursor position and doesn’t split screen. Is there a setting that can be changed to bring this back?

    Thanks,
    Brian

What is the source footage? Some types of source don’t seem to want to display first/last frame.

I found the setting. There is a toggle on the toolbar, “Show video event edge frames during edit”. The icon was film strip with a right bracket. Shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+O.

    Thanks.
