  Preview monitor

  Up to now I’ve used Vegas with a single monitor but the time has come to add a second for preview purposes.

  Now I’m not sure which way to go. I’ve always understood that for best colour accuracy go via firewire through a camera to a monitor/TV. Is this advice still valid? Was it based on differences between LCD and CRT monitors? I can’t imaggine that a LCD panel for a TV is much different to an LCD panel for a computer monitor so is it now just as effective to simply add a seconf monitor to the computer graphics card?

  I’m in PAL land – in case that makes any diffeence.
