Preview Disabled problem when capturing
I found that I could solve this issue by unmounting and switching off my external Lacie drive, then switching it on again!!!

y es, it seems that the preview disabled problem occurs mostly with daisy chained firewire drives. you may look into getting a pci card for more firewire ports.
