I am having a bit of a problem with a motion graphics ffx/preset I am trying to make.
I want a preset that lets assets pop in, while being able to control the asset size independently, so i use the transform effect with some keyframes on its scale value.
With .psd assets, everything’s just fine. But on .ai assets (with the little sun icon clicked) the transform effects seems to take some weird anchor point / position as its reference, not the position of the asset. So i pickwhipped the effect’s anchor point and position to the object position, and that seems to do the job. However, if I apply a ffx preset with this behavior onto a .psd asset, the anchor point is f**ed up.
How do I fix this? Or should I try another way? I’d love to have only one ffx that works for both .ai and .psd!
