I have a 45 minute dvd I have been trying to make for quite some time now. I am new to sony vegas and to editing. I have learned quite alot in a short period of time mainly thru error. I presently have raw footage edited and split into two projects because of low memory problems.(Although my computer has 6 gb of ram with vista 64).I have prerendered project 1 into a prerendering file(was avchd now mpg). I have the second project edited and has not been pre-rendered while on the time line although I did prerender raw footage to downconvert from avchd to mpg.I want the final result(pre-rendered project 1 followed by pre-rendered project 2 to be made into dvd on archetect 4.5. How is the best way to do this. I am wary of crashing since I have seen nothing but crashing since I bought this program I use a I7 267mhz tri-channel computer with 6 gb of ram with a vista 64 O.S.

I have determined that vegas p.e. crashes when my ram shows 2.75gb of usage. I have roughly 46 minutes of edited video(mpg) divided into 3 projects so that I can safely fine tune any last minute editing and stay away from crashes. Now I need to connect the 3 projects in series and send the projects as one to archetect 4.5. I have tried cut and paste and that failed since archetect wanted to overwrite the original instead of linking them.
