preparing a film for projection
Hi everybody!
I’m color correcting a short animation. It is to be projected by Barco from a PAl dvd.
Should I Adjust the overall output level of the entire film to 16 black 235 white, or is this only for tv playback?
And if it is necessary, can I make the adjustment using the just the levels and curves effects or is there a better way to do it? -

Not necessary for projection and not necessary for TV unless you have hot reds/oranges/maroon.
And use Levels. Curves doesn’t provide a numeric guide, Levels does.
