PremierePro CS6: Video stuttering and freeze-framing in playback
I know there are a few posted threads about this already, but no one seems to be having my problem (unless I missed it going through the threads). Here’s the problem:
Premiere CS6 runs fine with media captured from 2 of 3 camera sources that I use in editing. Media from one camera, however, will freeze and stutter to the point it’s almost impossible to edit, unless I watch the entire video in real time and drop my in/out points that way. Even then it stutters. The camera audio plays fine during high-speed scrubs, and video will play for the first half-second or so, then freeze. The video size, frame rates, video and audio stats are identical to the other cameras. But the problem is only apparent with media from this camera (all media so far). When I load a clip into the source monitor, it says “Media pending” for about 4 seconds before the frame image appears.
Thoughts?
