Premiere won’t start without closing in task manager
Title says it all, but this problem persists into the 2018 release of Premiere Pro CC. Launching it from Start doesn’t work until I go into task manager and close it first.
Clearly, Premiere doesn’t fully close when it should – this has been a long-standing issue through many versions of Premiere and it’s truly confounding as to why.
Any thoughts / workarounds? Having the same issue?

Unfortunately your problem is localized. I’m on Windows 10 also and I’ve never run into that issue. the firfst steps I’d take is to do a clean install of premiere and any other Adobe programs.

I have the same issue so you are not alone. I’m on Windows 10 and PP 2018.
I may do a reinstall as suggested above after I finish the current project.
