Hello, I am working with Premiere CS3 off of a PC. I am shooting on Panasonic p2 cameras. I have loaded the proper driver for th P2 Camera( or so I think) I am trying to import the MXF files to PPr it it tells me the files are unsupported. Now the fun part is I have an older PC with the same software, programs loaded and they work just fine. Obviously I did something to the older computer Ididn’t do to the newer one. I hope I explained this enough. Does anyone have any thoughts ?

Is the PPro installation on the non-working computer corrupt by chance?

Something a re-install might take care of?

You need to update your Premier 3.0 install, as MXF support wasn’t introduced until 3.1. Go to the Help menu, and click on Update (or Software Update, I can’t remember).

That did the trick. Thank you so much for the help.

Turns out I needed to update software. Thank you for your thoughts.
