I am adding Premiere Pro CS4 to my editing suite to go with the Vegas I’ve been using (to be compatible with all project partners). I have a couple of questions, please: can I import into Premiere any files I downloaded from my Sony HVR-Z1U and saved via Vagas?
Second: I loaded Premiere on my new laptop and, upon installation completion, got a warning that said “Please run this program from the Administrator account so it can set up your license. Once the license is set up, you can run it from any account”. I was in the Administrator account (the only active account on the computer) when I loaded it. I researched the Adobe site and it recommends disabling all accounts. I’d like to avoid that if possible. How can I make Premiere recognize it is in the Admin account so it will register?
Finally: do I need to buy any outboard hardware like a High Definition Intermediary, or can Premiere Pro CS4 and my quad-core 4g computer successfully download and edit (I’m not using AE or any complex motion graphics)?

    Thank you,

    Don
