    Hello

I am new to premiere and I would like to create a cross dissolve effect where the image disintegrates like sand, similar to the way the photoshop dissolve works (when you have Dissolve set as layer mode and slide the opacity) where the image is broken up into individual pixels that disintegrate as the dissolve opacity % increases—— does anyone have any suggestions how to easily achieve this or free preset transitions that can be used to accomplish this? Any tips or advice would be infinitely appreciated

    Thanks so much!!

well you could put the clip you want to dissolve away on layer 2 and the dissolve to clip on layer 1.
go to opacity on layer 2. select dissolve. add a keyframe. advance the clip 30 frames and add another keyframe and change opacity to 0.
