    Hey all,

I’m using Red Giant’s Colorista as my color correction software. When I use the Premiere command “Replace with After Effects Composition” — the correction completely changes (images below). I compared the Effects Panel of Colorista in AE and Premiere, and nothing is different between the two. Anyone have any insight into why this is happening?

    Thanks,
    Will

From what I understand after a lot of digging is that Colorista is not inter-operable between the programs, and it’s not clear why. My fix is to duplicate the footage so the shot is stacked on top of itself, “Replace with After Effects Comp” the top one, do my animation, and then hide the video layer in Ae.

Not ideal, but it beats having to export every time I want to animate something on top of me talking.

    Regards,
    Will
