My team has been experiencing an odd bug for the last few months. Our workflow involves us frequently passing projects and hard drives around between computers.

Sometimes (and only sometimes) when we open a project up that was originally created on computer A with some work done, then transitioned to computer B with some work done, then back to computer A, the project will have edits slipped by seemingly random amounts of frames for some clips in the timeline, but not all. For some clips that means the diagonally slashed lines that indicate project assets not matching their master clip durations.

After this has happened, even taking the project back to computer B does not resolve the issue and requires a lot of manual rework, frequently involving re-syncing and editing audio clips. This has definitely occurred on multiple occasions on CC 2018, I am not sure whether it has happened to us on 19 yet.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
