Hello members, I’m new here and would gladly like your help and opinions,
I shot this little thing and my main guy is rockin’ this sorta suit jacket that I guess if you look very close has like a checkered pattern. I know that some cameras can not really handle it so I guess my questions is if it’s my camera’s “fault” or that Premiere does something with it?
I hope the image is illustrative enough to understand what I mean.

You may have to live with some moire going on with a jacket like that, but it does depend on what you are doing with it. First off, look at it on a screen 1:1. In your screen shot, you are at 1/4 resolution and set to fit – which will re-size your window to fit. Look at it at Full size and full image quality and see if you still have the moire effect. When you render out, high compression codecs may give you less desirable results. It may be possible to garbage matte his jacket and give a slight blur on it to help.

Thanks for the reply and the suggestions. It is true that moire is less when playing back at full resolution! Thanks! Went back to checked some old exports and it is less moire on those than my latest export. I will try to play around with different codecs and resolutions. I will prob have to live with some like you say,.
