Premiere randomly resetting preferences and other things
I have premiere on both a Mac and PC and I run into this problem about once or twice a month on both. When I open up Premiere, the dialog box that first comes up that allows you to open recent projects is empty. So I manually find my project file and open, only to find Premiere has reset my project preferences, sometimes loses my “favorite” effects in a folder I’ve created. I have to reset default transitions and times, etc.
Not a life changing issue, but it sure is a pain in the rear.Any insight to this problem?

are you pressing on any other keys when you launch Premiere ? i think there is a key you can press that will trash your prefs on launch.
