    Hello,
For class, I want to make a 5-7 min video, but I want to make it black/white style like sin city. Before I start, how should I tape it? In color and then change it to greystyle?
Also, as in the movie, I want to make a certain color stand out, like have red paint and then change it to yellow/orange like the movie. How would I go about doing that?
Also, are their any comic book style templates for the beginning?

Sorry for asking so many questions,
    Jason

Shoot it in color, and check out this site for a color pass tutorial that will isolate a color for you: https://www.wrigleyvideo.com/videotutorial

I don’t know of any comic book templates. If you make one, I would love to host it on my templates page: https://www.stevengotz.com/templates.htm

    Thanks,
Ill take a look at it.
Also, what about a green screen effect? One of the parts takes place in a casino and I wanted like 270degree shot where I can move the camera around a card game, then the casino backdrop moves. I take it ill have to manually move it in the program. I was thinking of setting up a table in the middle, then putting walls of the greenscreen around them.

Hmmm, the more you want to do, the more I am ready to suggest it should be done in After Effects.

Some of the effect shots they used in Sin City were basic Alpha mattes. Someone in front of a green screen, and then use the alpha’s key result as footage.

It’s also worth mentioning, if you want to have a single object show up in color pass effect, make sure your talent wears a decently contrasting color.

Say for instance, a lady in a red dress. Make sure a guy in the scene isn’t wearing a tie with red in it. It’ll show up, and create more work for you to get it to go away…
