Premiere Pro throws out corrupted MOV files
Hi guys!
Last week I finished my latest clip and when I tried to finish it with Media Encoder it gave me an unidentified/unknown error. I did get an actual MOV.file but when I tried to open it I got a message which said as much as “Can’t open Intro2010Final.mov. This file isn’t supported by Quicktime Player” (I’m from Holland so I got the message in Dutch.. 🙂
Is anyone familiar with these kind of errors?
In all the stress the moment I had to deliver I lost my original Premiere Pro file so the corrupted MOV.file is my only hope of retrieving this clip. I already downloaded software which can analyze the file and it gave me a pretty promising preview and a 95% chance of getting the clip back the way it should be. However, this’ll cost met some $110,-… Not that big of an issue but if there’s another (cheaper) way around this problem I’d really like to know!
Does anyone have the solution?
Love from Holland!
Ruben.
