premiere pro shows wrong background in imported AE-composition
i made a comp in after effects CS5.5 including textlayer, mov-layer, solid and shape layer. The background color of the comp is red.
When i import the comp in premiere pro it shows a black background instead of a red one
pretty weird, because the rendered out mov in AE actually does show the red background.??

In After Effects, does the alpha channel look normal? Should be pure white. Premiere’s background color is black, so I’m wondering if it’s a transparency issue.

Hi there,
I created a solid layer, put it underneath my “dancing girl -mov” in the layer hierarchy
And switched under “none” to “Alpha Matte”, but the red color stems from composition settings…

Composition space in AE is empty even if it is set to show as “red” instead of the default black.
PPro sees it as fully transparent.
So either add a solid as the base of you AE comp.
Or add a Color matte on v1 in PPro and place the AE comps on V2…
