Premiere pro problem.How to reduce the number of audio channels in export settings
I am getting an error message when I try to export a sequence “the number of audio channels to create in the exported file must be equal to or less than the number of channels in the source” aswell as “please reduce the number of audio channels in export settings”. I cant seem to do it. Anybody know?

If you have a stereo master track, you can not export a 5.1 clip. Is that the issue?

I dont know what a stereo master track is.Could you possibly explain. The audio export settings are: uncompressed, sample rate is 44100 Hz, sample type is 16-bit, no channels (and it wont let you add any more), interleave is 1/2 second.Thanks.

Your sequence has a master track for the audio. Look at the bottom of the timeline and determine how you set up your sequence.
And then tell us what you are exporting to.
