Hi, I’m stuck here so I would really appreciate some help.
I shot some 4K footage at 60fps with my GH5s.
I imported the clips in premiere pro, interpreted as 24 fps, then created proxies to edit that footage.
When I import the clips into the timeline, I noticed the audio waveform only goes to a certain point. Beynd that point the clip won’t play.
I have no idea what to do to fix that.
Could anybody anybody please help me?
    Thanks!

Ps: this is how the clip looks:

Is the audio playing correctly then cuts off?

Thank you Eric. Actually even though the waveform stops there is still some audio but it becomes muffled. I tried creating proxy in H264 or Quicktime but end up with the same result. I don’t know what else I can do…
This is a close up of the audio. All my proxies are the same…

Change your workflow. The GH5 4k footage is probably H264 and H264 4k will bring your computer to a grinding halt. Instead of making proxies you should transcode all of that GH5 footage to an edit friendly codec like Cineform or ProRes. Then interpret that media.

I agree with Greg. The problem is your workflow, if you make proxies from footage that you have changed in the ‘Interpret footage’ window then you will come across problems. Transcode is your most reliable option.
