Activity Forums Adobe Premiere Pro Premiere pro gone bonkers since El Capitan upgrade

    Yeah…back up all your files, erase the hard drive and install Yosemite. THen install all of your apps from scratch and bring back your backed up files. because there’s no way to simply uninstall the OS. YOu need to start from scratch.

    Always check with the software developers before you upgrade. Especially if you use that software to make a living. Adobe has said, on record, DO NOT upgrade to El Capitan. The Adobe creative suite does not work under El Capitan.

    Well, with the latest El Capitain upgrade, it works, there are just some glitches here and there with the graphics rendering (specifically no full screen playback consistently). however, I haven’t had any crashes or lost work. (new iMac 5k)

    As Larry Jordan has stated many times, unless there’s a pressing, urgent reason to upgrade an OS, don’t do it and wait for several months – and several bug fixes – before attempting.

    I’m cool with Yosemite for another year at this point..!

    You guys realize that Adobe specifically stated that the current version of PP doesn’t work properly with El Capitan?
