    Hi guys,

This one has me baffled. I finished an edit in Premiere Pro CS6.02. The edit contains two sound effects (gun shots) on a the third and fourth mono channels (left and right), i.e. the two effects span the same channels. I can hear them both loud and clear in the edit but when I export via media encoder (either by hitting ‘export’ or ‘queue’ one sound effect is missing in the exported film! I can’t work out why.

I’ve checked and the audio clips are enabled on the timeline, I’ve checked they link ok to their source files, the channels are enabled and highlighted. I mean, I can HEAR them in the edit so surely that’s all that matters anyway. But one is gone in the exported version.

Does anyone have any suggestions? It’s very concerning that what I hear in the timeline may not translate in the exported film.

    James.

I have that exact same error. One audio clip is missing from export, although it sounds perfectly fine in Premiere Pro CS6.
