When opening a project, I am getting the error:

    “Video Filter missing: AE.RG MBCC”

There are lots of posts on the issue of missing video filters, AE/Premiere compatibility, and working with Dynamic Links, but even though the error is apparently calling for an AE filter, the project has NEVER been in AE.

This project was originally created in Premiere CS4. We upgraded to CS6 a while back, and when I opened the Premiere project file, the program let me know that the project was created in an older version and would need to be converted to work in CS6. Ever since then I receive the video filter error whenever opening the project (and obviously I can’t open an older, more “original” file without running into the same problem because CS6 needs to convert it from CS4 to open it).

The error leads me to believe that at some point Magic Bullet Colorista was used in the original project in CS4. I *think* this is what is missing, but I have idea where to even begin looking for whatever is causing the error.

Is there any way to search for where this filter is being called from?

Will this project always spawn this error upon opening the file (and all future versions based on this project)?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
