When using Twixtor with in Premiere 5.5, when setting the 2nd / 3rd key frame to a slower motion, premiere jumps back to an earlier point in the clip. Is there a workaround for this?

    Footage used is h.264 @ 60 FPS.
Project is set to AVCHD 60FPS.

    My workflow:
    1. Drop footage on time line
    2. Add twixtor effect to clip
    3. Set KF 0 @ 100%
    4. Set KF 20@ 100%
    5. Set KF 21@ 3%

I checked the key frames and everything is fine percentage wise. When I hit my 3rd KF, it is at this point that premiere goes bonkers and reverts back to an earlier segment in the clip.

My goal is to have the first “X” seconds of the clip play at 100% speed, then slow down in the middle, then speed up at the end.

I have the exact same problem. Any luck sorting this out?

Have you had success with Twixtor and h.264 before. I would guess the long GOP structure of H.264 compression would reek havoc with Twixtor as opposed to full frame video like P2 or Prores or DNxHD. Maybe converting the clip to one of those might avoid the issue. Just a ballpark guess.
