  Premiere Pro CS5.5 and AME Freeze

  I have a nearly 2-hour AVCHD 720p sequence that I need to render to DVD for a paid gig. I had started to render it in AME and everything was going fine, but I had checked “Render at Maximum Depth” and “Maximum Render Quality” in the video settings and, after 7 hours, saw that the remaining render time was predicted at 50 hours! So, I stopped the render and unchecked those two options, but now AME hangs at “Reading XMP” and eventually crashes.

  I tried exporting straight from Premiere, but it hangs at 0% before crashing as well. I’ve been going through various configurations (IE changing export settings) but I get the same result. It’s now been 3 days.

  Any help is greatly appreciated, as I am in a crunch!
