    Hi all
i`m sorry if this has been brought up before, i did look up and couldn`t find it.
i have Win XP and am reliably informed that you can`t run Premiere past CS5 on XP, only Win 7 will run CS5.5 and CS6…..
i don`t want to upgrade my OS so want to find somewhere i can download a trial version of Premiere CS5.
does anyone know where i can get this as Adobe remove all links to previous versions?

    regards
    Chris

I doubt that you’ll be able to download a trial version of 2+ year old software. And software that Adobe has effectively stopped supporting (i.e.patches, etc.). However, you can still purchase CS5 through various websites. Purchasing it is probably your only legal route to gain access to this software.

hmm, i did find one place just now but it only gets so far through the 1.4gb download when it cuts out.
there is no way i`m paying the asking price without trying it beforehand, very expensive. i`ll have to try and find something else if nothing comes up.
    thanks for your help.

You need a 64 bit OS for running cs5. The last one supported in XP 32bit is CS4

really? interesting that CS5 versions of, say, Photoshop and Illustrator, run just fine with 32 bit OS…..
oh well, even more unlikely that i`ll find trial versions of CS4`s than CS5`s….
